Children's Imagenation/Sitting Pistures/Interaction with Furnitures
Children really have a very rich imagination for ordinary things.
Many games are "invented". All matter is uncharacterized, and children can imagine a new setting at a moment's notice. These games are also uncharacterized and subject to change, but they are very interesting and relevant. The settings are also logical in a way. We played the Cat Cat Play game, and the following was imagined by both kids themselves. I as the person who adopted the cats and the two sisters as the stray cats the two sisters communicated with each other through different licks. My sister also took into account the cat language setting, that is, they were actually meowing I was unable to understand their language, but in order to facilitate communication I pretended to understand.
All matter will be involved in this game. The top of the bunk bed can have curtains drawn over it and is a place for two kittens to sleep together. The blankets become pools of water on the floor, and in the morning when they wake up they will climb off the bunk beds or roll down to drink at the pools. Yes they play stray cats. The licking position position is used to communicate that it's good morning, good night, time to eat, I love you, etc. Since I'm not their relative they have to pretend to lick me.
We also finished up the play-acting game for the sale, where everyone gets a role. My sister as the owner and salesperson of the supermarket, and my sister and I as customers. Something completely different was collected and paper was cut up as cash and credit cards.
Most unusual was a cross-shaped wooden bench being used as a checkout counter, while the crosses could be used like swinging doors, each putting items to ship. It was a very interesting idea.
I'm always pleasantly surprised by the imagination of children.
