Gender Fluidity

Gender Troubler-Judith Butler

He argued that Gender is kind of improvised performance.Gender is constructed by a whole social system that includes the state, the school, the family and each and every one of us in the process of being closely involved. Gender is constantly being created and recreated. And the consequence behind these norms is the formation of what we now call gender stereotypes. It prevents us from really wanting to expressly tap into our gender because the society has told us that as a man or a woman we are meant to do what we do according to what rules.
However, I think it also means that such rules can be broken, and as long as we think that such gender rules are not suitable for us, we can actually find some gaps in the system to break through and find our own suitable gender expressions and gender nomenclature

Gender Fluid-Britchida-Queer Artist

Gender fluidity is the colourful rivers and oceans all passing through a seemingly black bowl. This is what Britchida sees as the limits of this society for our gender. What Britchida expects of each of us is that through this bowl we become free and unfettered expressions of gender diversity, like the colourful river.
